055 正宗 ２ Masamune 2
刀匠の名前は二字です。ピンときた方もいらっしゃると思いますが同名異人がじつに多いです。
正宗も文献にのっているだけで２２人もいます。
出身地と時代で区別するんですが、いわゆる「正宗」は鎌倉時代の
相州(いまの神奈川県)鍛冶なんですが相州でも２人います。
永正(室町時代)ころにも「相州住五郎入道正宗」と銘をきった刀匠がおり
山内というところに住んでいたので山内正宗と呼ばれています。
以前正宗(無銘)の売り物を見たことがありますが恐る恐る値段を聞くと７０００万円！
くれぐれも間違えないように気をつけましょう(笑)。
「正宗」の在銘品で売りに出るものはありません。
J.S master's name is 2 words. There are many
cases that same name,but others person.
There are 22 J.S.masters whose name is Masamune.
Famous Masamune is that lived in Sou-syuu(now,Kanagawa
prefecture),
and time is Kamakura-piriod(=13,14c).
There is another Masamune who lived in Sou-syuu.
His time is Muromachi-piriod(16c). He is
called "Yamauchi-Masamune".
I have saw Masanune at a exibition. The price
was $500,000(\7000)!
Be careful when you buy Masamune.
