037 日本刀＝玉鋼？J.S meade with J.steel?

日本刀にはタタラ製鉄でつくられた玉鋼という鉄が使われます。(もののけ姫？)
でも江戸時代には南蛮鉄といって外国から輸入した洋鋼をつかった刀がでてきます。

J.S. is usually made with "Tamahagane"."Tama" means jewel."Hagane" means steel.
"Tamahagane" is Japanese traditional steel.
But in Edo piriod (17c),there is a J.S that is made with western steel.
The steel is imports. It was very rare in Japan at that time.
