かくのごとき有様で、娘、宇治の川面に行き３７日、生きながら鬼となる。
妬ましい女、その縁者、つれない男、その縁者、身分、男女,、その縁の深さを問わず
思いのままに取り殺す。

人これを宇治の橋姫と呼ぶ。

平家物語、剣の巻より

The girl went to Udi river. She stayed in a water for 37 days.
She became a demon.

She cursed a rival in love,an enviable people,cold hearted man and
their relative. Nobody could escape her curse.

People called her Princess Bridge.
