B029　遠藤士一氏 Mr.Shiichi Endou

敗戦後大名家の刀剣類は尾張徳川家を除いてほぼ例外なく散逸の憂き目を見ています。
奇跡的に土屋家の刀剣類だけは故遠藤士一氏により散逸することなく保存され
現在めでたく土浦市の管理するところとなりました。

故遠藤士一氏の業績に敬意を表し、今回土浦市に譲られ一部御寄贈された令夫人の
御決断に感謝致します。

Almost Japanese old Daimyou(feudal lord) family had lost thier treasures
after WW2 with asingle exception of Owari Tokugawa family.

But Tsuchiya familys one is kept by the late Mr.Shiichi Endou.
Fortunately Tsuchiura public office get all of them.

I respect the late Mr.Shiichi Endou's achievements and Mrs.Endou's decision
of hand over to Tsuchiura public office. Thank you very much.
