217 小烏丸5 Little Raven 5

室町時代の宇都宮三河入道目利書には小烏丸の記載があり刃長２尺６寸５分とあります
現在の小烏丸は２尺７分、摩り上げた形跡はありません。

Utsunomiya-Mikawa-Nyuudou-Mekikisyo was a sword book in Muromachi period(15c).
It tells that Kogarasu-maru(Little Raven) is 80.3 cm long.

At the present time,Little Raven in the imperial Household Agency is 62.7 cm
long. It was not Suriage(shortened).
