149 王政復古 Kingship come back
慶応３年(1867)12月9日、15歳の明治天皇(同年１月９日に既に即位していた)の御前で
会議(小御所会議)が開かれ、慶喜つまりは幕府の実権を削ぎとるための王政復古宣言がなされました。
執拗に抵抗する土佐藩主山内容堂に手を焼く岩下佐次右衛門に対して西郷隆盛が
「短刀一本で用は足りもす」と伝えたのは余りにも有名です。
結果としてはまだまだ強大であった幕府軍を刺激することになり
鳥羽・伏見の戦いへと繋がることになりました。
Infront of 15years Meiji Emperor,There was a conference. It intended to spoil
Bakufu's(Syogunate's) power and Kingship come back.
Tosa domain Lord Yamanouchi Youdou opposed to spoil Bakufu.
Takamori Saigo said "One short sword can solve a problem".
Its saying is famous.
The conference stimulated Bakufu soldiers. It brought Toba Fushimi war.
