137 沖田総司2 Okita Soji 2
沖田総司の愛刀に関しては菊一文字や大和守安定という説が根強くありますが出展が定かではありません。
まあ武器である限り刀も消耗品ですから何振りも持っているのが当然ですし
後世の人のロマンや他の隊士の刀と混同されていたりもするでしょう。
菊一文字は鎌倉時代初期(1200頃)の古備前鍛冶のうち菊の紋章を切ることを許された
と伝えられる番鍛冶の則宗、助宗らの作を指しますが菊紋のはいった実物は現存しません。
安定は承応(1652〜)のころの武蔵国(現東京)の刀工で良業物です。
則宗(Norimune)、助宗(Sukemune)
Someone says Okita Soji's sword is "Kiku Ichimonji" or "Yamato-no-kami Yasusada". But it's not sure.
Okita Soji is the most famous Samurai fighter(sword fighter).
He may had many swords.
And someone confuse or has a Romanticism for hero's swords.
Kiku Ichimonji is 13c sword smith. He was Bann-kaji.
So he could engrave the imperial chrysanthemum crest for his sword.
But it's only a legend. No true work is there now.
Yasusada is 17c sword smith in Musashi no kuni(now Tokyo).
