117 本阿弥　Honnami

内大臣広橋兼秀の「年中恒例記」に本阿弥光心が春の彼岸の３日間将軍家の蔵刀の
手入れをしたとの記載があります。

本阿弥家とは将軍家の広い意味での刀係であり、結果として刀剣の極め所となりました。
つまり刀の鑑定家ですね。光心は７代、享保名物帳の作者光忠は１３代にあたります。

Kanehide Hirohashi(Cabinet minister at 16c) told in his diary that Honnami
Koushin came to maintenance Syogun's swords at the spring equinoctial week.

Honnami family is a sword charge in the office of Syogun.
They become sword judge.
Koushin was the 7th,Mitsutada(the author of Kyouhou-meibutsucyo) is the 13th.
