浜御殿において作刀したのは薩摩藩の正清、安代、および筑前の重包です。
みんな当時流行の相州伝です。
陪臣の安代が直臣の正清と同列に扱われてることでもわかるように
吉宗公は封建制度の元締めでありながら身分にこだわらず良工を選出しました。
３人には褒美として作品に一葉の葵紋を切ることが許され、正清、安代は
それぞれ主水正、主馬首を受領しています。
正清 Masakiyo
安代、Yasuyo
Masakiyo,Yasuyo(Satsuma domain) and Shigekane(Chikuzen domain) were
best sword smiths at the contest.
Masakiyo is a vassal of domain lord. Yasuyo is a vassal of lord's vassal.
Their social position is different.
But their work were admired without a relation of their social position.
Syogun Yoshimune didn't care sword smith's social position.
Yoshimune allowed that 3 sword smiths engraved Aoi-monn(the symbol of
Syogun-family) on their works.
