113 暴れん坊将軍　Syogun Yoshimune

柔弱な世風を憂えた８代将軍吉宗公(1684-1751)、「享保の改革」で有名ですが、
そのなかに「武芸の振興」の一項があります。刀剣に関しては
御浜御殿での鍛刀コンクールの開催、本阿弥光忠による享保名物帳の作成の
２点が有名です。

The 8th Tokugawa Syogun Yoshimune is famous that he carried out a reform.
his policy is called "kyouhou no kaikaku(Reform at Kyouhou)".
His policy suggested "promotion of martial arts".
About a sword,two episode are famous,they are "Contest at Hamagotenn" and
"Making of Kyouhou Meibutsucyou by Honnami Mitsutada".
