103 大阪新刀 Osaka Shinnto(Osaka new sword)

旺盛な需要は刀工の競争を招き技術の向上が促されます。
商人の町である大阪では平和な時代もあいまって華麗な脇差しが多く作られました。
(武士以外は刀は差せなかった)これを大阪新刀と呼んでます。

井上真改や河内守国助等、華麗な刃紋と冴えた地金で目のさめるような名刀が残ってます。

このころの刀は真贋もはっきりしており健全なものが多いです。

Much demand cause competition among sword masters.
Competition cause improvement of quality. Swords made in Osaka at this time
were called Osaka Shinnto(Osaka new sword).

Osaka is marchant city. So Osaka Shinnto is almost Wakizashi(30-60cm long).
Because Only Bushi can use Katana(over 60cm long). It's a law at this time.

Gougeous temper pattern and cool Di(ground).
And Osaka Shinnto is clear for its authenticity and almost good condition.
