085 梨 Pear

整った地(鎬地を除く)の一面に小沸(コニエ)がまんべんなくついた状態を梨子地と
いいます。梨を切ったときのフツフツした断面に似ているからです。

肥前刀や山城物の上作に見かけます。

There is Nie all around the Di. It's called Nashiko-Di(Pear Ground).
Because It's look like a section of cut pear.
