081 豊臣秀吉　Toyotomi Hideyoshi

日本の富を一人占めした秀吉公、当然あまたの名刀を所持していましたが一振りあげるなら
やっぱり「一期一振」でしょう。

鎌倉時代の山城の国(現京都)の粟田口派の刀工で通称藤四郎、短刀の名手として知られ、
太刀はこの一振りしか残っていません。

そんなに貴重な太刀なのに秀吉公は摩り上げちゃいました(涙)。銘は額銘として残っています。

越前朝倉家、中国毛利家、秀吉公、尾張徳川家、孝明天皇と伝わり現御物となる。

Lord Hideyoshi is super rich. He had many beautiful J.S.
I think the his best is "Ichigo-Hitofuri(=One time only)".

It was made by Toshirou-Yoshimitsu of Awataguchi family. He was Kamakura piriod J.S. master.
Existing his sword is almost short sword. And his long sword is only this J.S.

Yes this sword is only one and very precious.
Nevertheless Hideyoshi shortened it(suriage). Oh may God!

Its Mei(sign) is remain as "Gakumei(=frame sign)". Now it's Gyobutsu(J.Emperor's treasure)
