リアとの友好のためにもこの刀をシドニー大学へ寄贈したいと
考えていました。

相談を受けたブルックス少佐は錆の出ていた刀を研ぐ必要があると
考え、日本の梶原皇刀軒氏に連絡しました。

Mis Mary thought of the bond between her father and the
Japanese Antarctic expedition and wanted to donate this
sword to the University of Sydney in order to promote
friendship between Japan and Australia.

After being consulted, Major Brooks thought it was necessary
to sharpen the rusted sword, so he contacted Mr. Kajiwara
Kotoken in Japan.
